SYNOPSIS: Hook Up??? is a decade-spanning queer romance told in ten parts, filmed in real-time over ten years, tracing the intimate, tangled, and evolving connection between Daniel and Fred (Alfredo) two men who meet anonymously in a Sydney hotel room during a professional conference. What begins as a one-night stand slowly unfurls into a complex, emotionally charged relationship revisited annually in different cities around the world.
Each chapter captures a year in their lives and a moment in a different city, Sydney, San Francisco, Rome, Paris, Athens, Madrid, Berlin, New York, Melbourne, and the final city, Bologna Italy. Every episode begins with a hook-up, between people we later encounter in each story.
